  2. SYMPTOMS. Early signs are persistent or progressive pain in a bone that is
  3. followed later by swelling.
  4. CAUSES of bone cancer is unknown at this time. The cancer may begin in the
  5. knee, pelvis, ribs, thigh, upper arms, lung, prostate, kidney or other
  6. parts of the body and spread to a bone from any of these locations.
  7. TREATMENT. Consult your doctor early for persistent bone pain.
